Grand Canyon

Williams, AZ

We drove to Williams to catch the Grand Canyon Railroad - what a fun time. It was very cold and there was snow on the ground. We enjoyed the train ride to the Grand Canyon and the tour. Worth the trip!

Jungle Bells

We went to the SD Zoo to check out the exhibits and all of the lights. It was beautiful, especially riding the Skyfari just after the sun went down - we could see all of the lights in the downtown area. one of the little darlings didn't look very happy!

Christmas morning bike ride

two of the little darlings got new bikes, so we had to go for a ride. it was a beautiful day and a fun time. maybe we should make that a tradition - what fun.

Christmas Cat!

Roofus the cat manages to get on top of the TV cabinet every night. I caught him dozing. This is his favorite spot, especially when the Christmas tree is up.

So that you are not wondering, I want to tell you why his name is spelled the way it is. We rescued him off of the roof of the church-- hence the name Roofus!

Gourds o'Plenty

Here are a couple of our finished gourds - we made a bunch into birdhouses for our family and friends. we're already planning our next crop - we may try to sell them at the local farmer's market. so cute!
